Madame Marie Curie 20140625 with text
Marie Skłodowska-Curie (7 November 1867 - 4 July 1934) was a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the only woman to win in two fields, and the only person to win in multiple sciences. She was also the first woman to become a professor at the University of Paris, and in 1995 became the first woman to be entombed on her own merits in the Pantheon in Paris.
Curie died in 1934 at the sanatorium of Sancellemoz (Haute-Savoie), France, due to aplastic anemia brought on by exposure to radiation - mainly, it seems, during her World War I service in mobile X-ray units created by her. -wikipedia
Painterly Style photo art have a lively colorful brush stroke texture in the tradition of master painters. Zoom in on an area of the image to see the artistry of this style. This type of artwork would look terrific on a large canvas, and a print on paper media would look just as stunning!
